Lead Alarm Service Technician
Service Technician – experienced
Best Defense Fire Protection and Security is seeking to add another skilled alarm service technician. Applicants must have a minimum of three year’s alarm installation, programming, and troubleshooting experience.
Job duties include:
- Report to alarm manager
- Repair of existing fire alarm, security system, cctv, and access control products
- Follow up with customers on repairs
- Proper completion of paperwork and electronic forms
Skills required include:
- Skilled programmer of security panels, IP CCTV, and access control.
- Ability to program and provide basic troubleshooting on IP based products such as IP Video and access control
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Electronics knowledge
- Strong PC skills
- Customer service and communications skills
- Organizational skills to insure paperwork and electronic forms are properly completed, signed, and filed.
- Ability to learn new products
- Attention to detail. Service Department shall leave every system better than when they arrived.
- People skills
